future chances for Cesar / Mensendieck

New chances for groups will be presented by speakers from Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands. Each country has it’s own specialities. A little look in the program shows lectures about group processes and stress management but also practical information about groups for breast operated women and people with diabetic. The contact with colleagues from abroad will be inspiring.

The congress will be from Friday 21st 15.00 hrs till Saturday 22nd 18.00 hrs followed by an exclusive dinner buffet. The official invitation for the congress will come in spring 2008. There will be a limited amount of places available.

For further information you can contact the congress manager Ivonne de Vos: mensendieck-devos@hetnet.nl

The congress is organised by IAMTTE, the International organisation for Cesar and Mensendieck Therapists, Teachers and Educations. One of the products of IAMTTE is an international congress which is organised every second year in one of participating countries, as there are Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. In 2008 celebrates IAMTTE the 10th year anniversary.

Members
The members of the IAMTTE are the Danish Mensendieck education and assocation, the Dutch Mensendieck education, the Norwegian Mensendieck education, the Swedish Mensendieck association, the Dutch Mensendieck assocation and the Norwegian Mensendieck association.

Activities
The organisation aims to achieve her objectives by way of organizing congresses, stimulating scientific research, supporting in-service training and continuing education and providing information.

In her long term policy plan the IAMTTE focuses on the following:

- to promote and to spread the Mensendieck system,
- to further develop the Mensendieck system,
- to contribute to the development of the education programs and to the quality management of the Mensendieck educations in Norway, The Netherlands, Denmark and possibly Sweden in the future,
- building a stronger international Mensendieck network which contributes to the actions of the first three points.

To achieve these goals the board of IAMTTE organises an International Congress every two years. The first was held in Denmark in 1998. The next congress will be held in The Netherlands in 2008. The IAMTTE board meets several times every year and arranges telephone conferences to make plans and exchange information.
